\nThe Yealink CS10\/CS10-D completes the missing piece of an integrated ceiling sound system for meeting rooms. While ceiling microphones such as the CM20 and CM50 capture the voices of participants present in the room and send them to remote participants, the CS10\/CS10-D works in the opposite direction – receiving the voices of remote participants and distributing them with equal clarity throughout the room from the ceiling. The result is a fully integrated ceiling audio experience: No microphones on the table, no speakers on the table – everything is elegantly hidden in the ceiling.
\nThe speaker features a slim, sleek ceiling design that blends seamlessly with standard ceiling tiles and suspended ceiling systems common in modern offices, with professional finishes that maintain the aesthetic appeal of the room. Acoustic distribution from the ceiling provides equal and balanced coverage for all participants in the room regardless of their location, unlike traditional speakers that may be louder for those sitting near them and less clear for those farther away.
\nThe speaker is available in two versions designed for two different levels of enterprise audio architecture. The first version CS10 is based on a standard Ethernet network connection with PoE support, ideal for integration with the CM20 smart microphone in small and medium-sized rooms that do not require a Dante architecture. The CS10-D supports the professional Dante protocol for high-quality digital audio transmission, ideal for integration with the CM50 microphone and AP08 processor in large auditoriums and advanced professional audio architectures.
\nBoth versions support PoE (Power over Ethernet) operation for a simple installation with a single network cable carrying audio, power and control, without the need for a separate power supply or long analog speaker cables in the ceiling.
