Akuvox A08K is a smart access control station with a 2MP camera, RFID card reader and QR code, with IP65 protection and durable metal design.

The Akuvox A08K is a state-of-the-art IP-based smart access control terminal, equipped with a 2MP camera featuring infrared night vision and a 120 ° wide viewing angle. The device features a 13.56MHz RFID card reader and QR code reading technology, along with an easy-to-use numeric keypad. The A08K supports SIP 2.0 and ONVIF connectivity and has a full-screen audio feature with a built-in microphone and speaker. The device is designed with strong IP65 protection against water and dust and an IK07 shock resistance rating, as well as a durable metal construction that ensures high durability. The device can be rooftop or wall-mounted and supports power over PoE, with intelligent management via the Akuvox SmartPlus app and cloud platform.

Constructed with an aluminum alloy body with a tempered glass front, the device is resistant to the outside factors with IP65 protection and IK09 vandalism-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor installation even in difficult weather conditions.
The device supports up to 20,000 user cards and an incident log of up to 100,000 events, with additional, dual input ports, relay and support for common protocols such as Wiegand and RS485 for seamless integration with other security entry systems.
The A08K has flexible power options – it can be operated via PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or using a 12V DC source, and provides an electrical lock power output (≈ 600mA) which reduces the need for additional components.
Additional features include: tamper alarm, built-in audio for door opening messages, surface or built-in (flush-mount) or wall mounting, a web-based interface for user management, access permissions, access times, and remote software updates.
