While ceiling microphones such as the CM20 and CM50 capture the voices of participants present in the room and send them to remote participants, the CS10/CS10-D works in the opposite direction – receiving the voices of remote participants and distributing them with equal clarity throughout the room from the ceiling. The CS10-D supports the professional Dante protocol for high-quality digital audio transmission, ideal for integration with the CM50 microphone and AP08 processor in large auditoriums and advanced professional audio architectures.
Both versions support PoE (Power over Ethernet) operation for a simple installation with a single network cable carrying audio, power and control, without the need for a separate power supply or long analog speaker cables in the ceiling. The speakers are centrally managed via the Yealink Device Management platform with the ability to remotely adjust volume and operating parameters for all units across multiple locations.
